Chat

Chloe Chat is a conversational AI assistant built into Close. Ask questions about your pipeline, get answers about your leads and contacts, and take actions directly in Close.

Access Chat from Chloe > Chat in the left sidebar, or press Cmd+J (Mac) / Ctrl+J (Windows) from anywhere in Close.

What you can do with Chat

• Ask questions about your data — "How many leads did we create last week?", "What's the status of Acme Corp?", "Show me leads with no activity in 30 days".

• Get help working your pipeline — ask Chloe to summarize a lead, find contacts, or surface deals that need attention.

• Take actions in Close — Chloe can create tasks, update records, and more. When Chloe is about to take an action, she'll ask for your approval before doing anything.

• Monitor and update Chloe Voice Agents — Chloe is aware and accountable of any calls she is making. Ask her to report on her activity, performance, and even recommend changes to a Voice Agent's instructions.

• Build custom reports — Chloe can pull together any data you have in Close, analyze it, and generate a custom report.

Context awareness

Chat will automatically pick up context from whatever page you're on in Close. If you open Chat while viewing a lead, Chloe already knows which lead you're looking at. If you're in a Smart View, she can reference the leads in that list.

A context card in the chat input shows you what data Chloe can see before you send your message.

Actions and approvals

When Chloe wants to take an action in Close, such as creating a task or updating a field, she'll show an approval prompt before doing anything. You can review what she's about to do and confirm or cancel.

Chat history

Each conversation is saved as a session. To view or continue a previous conversation, click the history icon in the Chat header. Select any previous session to reload it.

To start a fresh conversation, click the + icon in the Chat header.

Sharing feedback

If a response isn't right, click the thumbs down icon below any Chloe message to open the feedback form. You can mark the issue type and add optional detail. Feedback is sent to the Close team and used to improve Chat.

Credits

Chat is free to use while in beta. It does not consume AI credits at this time.
