Use Cases

When you’re ready to iterate upon your Chloe Agent, some guidance may be helpful. This covers which use cases Chloe performs best at, which run mode to use, and which Skills to enable for each scenario. For setup and configuration, see Setup and Implementation. For prompt guidance, see Prompt Training.

What Chloe is best at

Chloe performs best when calling warm or known-interest leads where the goal is qualification, routing, reminders, or reactivation. She is most effective when she has context (think: a lead who filled out a form, attended a webinar, or started a trial) rather than a cold contact with no prior relationship.

Chloe can be run in two ways:

  • Workflow – calls leads automatically as they meet defined conditions. Best for continuous, ongoing motions.

  • Batch call – calls a defined list of contacts in sequence. Best for one-time campaigns or catch-up lists.

Not recommended: Cold outbound to contacts with no prior relationship or intent signal is a weak fit for Chloe. Starting there will skew your results and make it harder to evaluate her actual performance. See Compliance for more information.

Speed-to-lead (inbound follow-up)

Goal: Reach inbound leads within minutes while intent is high.

Best segment: New inbound leads, form fills, demo requests, trial signups.

Run mode: Workflow. Trigger Chloe when a new lead is created or a form is submitted. Chloe calls immediately without waiting for a rep to become available.

Recommended Skills: Book Meeting and Send Scheduling Link. If the lead is ready to commit, Chloe can book directly on the call or send a link as a fallback.

Suggested prompt focus:

  • Confirm the contact's interest and identity

  • Ask one or two qualifying questions to route correctly

  • Offer to book a next step before ending the call

What to measure: Contact rate, meeting set rate, time from lead creation to first call.

Inbound qualification and routing

Goal: Ask discovery questions, qualify to your criteria, and hand off good fits to a rep.

Best segment: High inbound volume where reps cannot respond to every lead immediately.

Run mode: Workflow.

Recommended Skills: Alert Users (to notify a rep when a qualified or high-intent lead is on the line), Transfer Call (to hand off live), Create Task (to log next steps for unqualified leads).

How Alert Users works: When Chloe detects that a contact matches a scenario you define -- such as expressing strong interest or confirming a specific qualification criteria -- she can alert a specified user or group so a rep can join or take over the call. [VERIFY: confirm exact Alert Users configuration options -- specifically what triggers can be defined and how the alert is delivered]

Suggested prompt focus:

  • Open with context about why you're calling

  • Ask structured discovery questions in order

  • Define clear routing rules: what qualifies someone, what disqualifies them, and what to do in each case

What to measure: Qualification rate, rep takeover rate, time saved per qualified lead.

Reactivation of stale leads

Goal: Re-engage leads that went quiet and never received proper follow-up.

Best segment: Leads with no open tasks and no activity in the past 60, 90, or 180 days. This is also the recommended starting point if you are new to Chloe -- low stakes, existing pipeline, real upside.

Run mode: Batch. Build a Smart View of stale leads matching your criteria and run a batch call.

Recommended Skills: Create Task (so reps can follow up on leads who show renewed interest).

Suggested prompt focus:

  • Acknowledge the gap since last contact, briefly and without over-explaining

  • Ask an open question to re-establish interest

  • Keep the goal simple: confirm interest or close the loop

What to measure: Response rate, re-engaged leads, tasks created for rep follow-up.

Additional use cases

These are slightly more situational but well-suited for Chloe.

Event and webinar follow-up – Call attendee or opt-in lists while context is fresh. Run as a Batch call in the days immediately following an event. Use Send Scheduling Link to book a follow-up meeting and capture momentum while the event is top of mind.

Appointment reminders – Reduce no-shows by having Chloe call contacts ahead of a scheduled meeting. Run as a Batch call for leads with a meeting that day.

Data verification – Use Chloe to call through a list and confirm contact details at scale. Run as a Batch call. Use Create Task to flag records that need rep review after the call.

Human handoff with Alert Users

Across all of the above use cases, the Alert Users Skill is the primary mechanism for keeping a human in the loop. Rather than treating Chloe as fully autonomous, use Alert Users to define the moments where a rep should be notified - for example, when a lead confirms high intent, asks a question Chloe cannot answer, or requests to speak with someone.

This makes Chloe's role additive rather than all-or-nothing. Reps stay focused on high-value moments while Chloe handles the volume.

Best practices

  • Start with reactivation. Stale leads are low-risk and give you real call data to iterate from before deploying Chloe to high-value new inbound leads.

  • Use Workflow for ongoing motions, Batch for campaigns. Don't set up a Batch for something that should be running continuously, and don't use a Workflow for a one-time list.

  • Plan for iteration. Your first Agent configuration will not be perfect. Review transcripts after the first batch of calls and tighten the prompt before expanding volume. See Prompt Training for guidance.

  • Publish before calling. Draft Agents will not place real calls. Always confirm your Agent is published before triggering a Workflow or starting a Batch call.
