Notetaker is currently in free beta.
Close Notetaker automatically transcribes and summarizes your meetings, so you can focus on what really matters: your leads. Notetaker joins your meetings, takes notes for you, and adds summaries and transcripts directly to the lead's timeline.
Notetaker can:
Auto-join scheduled meetings, even if you're not the organizer.
Arrive 2 minutes early.
Record meetings even if you’re absent (as long as Notetaker is let in).
Transcribe calls made in over 20 languages.

Enabling Notetaker
Set up Notetaker by heading to Settings > Notetaker. A calendar or connected Zoom account is needed, both of can be set up under Settings > Accounts & Apps.
Zoom Permissions
Due to Zoom permissions, all customers using Zoom will be prompted to re-connect their Zoom account for compliance. This is required in order to use Close Notetaker for Meetings.
Using Notetaker
The Notetaker will automatically join your scheduled meetings that have synced into Close. When the meeting begins, the Notetaker will join the waiting room to be allowed in by the meeting organizer. The following will be recorded:
Incoming and outgoing calls
Forwarded calls
Mobile calls
Scheduled meetings
Once your Notetaker has been allowed into the meeting, you have the option to pause and resume your recording. This allows your team to gather recording consent from your leads and discuss billing information without sensitive details being included in transcripts.
Transcripts are stored on the lead page and in the Conversations View, where you can search by keyword, phrase, or other lead/contact filters. Your transcripts do not expire.
One Notetaker per meeting (even with multiple users)
If two teammates from the same Close organization join a meeting, the Notetaker will recognize the duplicate and join as a single bot that can controlled by either teammate.
After the meeting has concluded, the recording will sync onto the lead page. You have the option to view the recording in full, see quick metrics about who spoke the most during the meeting, and search the transcript for key words.
Notetaker Reporting
Utilize search filters on the Leads page to find recorded meetings and transcripts containing specific phrases. Consider creating a Smart View with recently recorded meetings with key words that your team uses when ready to move to the next stage in your sales process.
Recorded meetings will also appear in the Conversations tab on the left sidebar. Filter for the information you need, and all matching results will appear. This is ideal for viewing meetings from different leads all in one place.
