# Syncing Yahoo Business Emails

Yahoo Business emails require a special step to approve SMTP syncing in Close.

First, log into your Yahoo Bizmail account.

Then follow these instructions to create an `app password`.

Next, log into Close.com and navigate to `Settings > Accounts & Apps > + Add Account` in the top-right. Select "Custom email" & enter your email address and fill in the fields as follows:

**SMTP Host**: smtp.bizmail.yahoo.com\
**SMTP Username**: `[Insert your email address]`\
**SMTP Password**: `[Insert your new "app password"]`

**IMAP Host**: imap.mail.yahoo.com\
**IMAP Username**: `[Insert your email address]`\
**IMAP Password**: `[Insert your new "app password"]`

click Save and this should indicate you've correctly set up syncing. It may take a few hours for a full initial sync to complete.
