You can access it in the top right corner of the 'Inbox' section or by clicking the '+' button next to 'Leads.' ![Toolbar button in Inbox highlighted with tooltip reading Review potential contacts.](https://close-prd-help-docs.s3.us-west-2.amazonaws.com/getting-started/import-data-into-close/other-ways-to-get-your-data-into-close/review_potential_contacts_172f72.png) In the 'Inbox' section ![New Lead popup with fields for Company and Contact name and buttons to import or review potential contacts.](https://close-prd-help-docs.s3.us-west-2.amazonaws.com/getting-started/import-data-into-close/other-ways-to-get-your-data-into-close/new_lead_popup_39ca18.png) In the 'New Lead' popup window Click the button, and you'll get a list of recommended Contacts. If you're happy with the list, you can import right away, or you can click 'Edit List,' and you can deselect Contacts you'd rather not import, and you can also assign the Contacts to different leads than the ones that are offered. ![List of detected potential contacts with summary panel and Import button.](https://close-prd-help-docs.s3.us-west-2.amazonaws.com/getting-started/import-data-into-close/other-ways-to-get-your-data-into-close/potential_contacts_panel_0bc1c0.png) Potential Contact results ![Potential Contacts list with selectable contacts, lead assignment dropdown, and import summary panel.](https://close-prd-help-docs.s3.us-west-2.amazonaws.com/getting-started/import-data-into-close/other-ways-to-get-your-data-into-close/potential_contacts_import_cec10c.png) Editing your list Once you are done, click on the 'Import' button. If you've deselected contacts, Close will ask you if you want to "discard" these. If you select them before processing, Close will never offer these contacts again. If you're not sure, proceed without selecting them. They won't be imported now, but Close might offer them in the future. ## From Calendly with Close's Calendly integration Connect your Calendly account as shown [here](/v1/docs/calendly). Go to Settings > Connect > Accounts & Apps and click on your Calendly account Under "Event Types" you can toggle on the "create contacts" functionality. When a meeting is booked with this Calendly Event Type, a new Contact will be created if the invitee's email doesn't already exist in Close. ![Calendly account settings showing an event type list with a toggle to create contacts.](https://close-prd-help-docs.s3.us-west-2.amazonaws.com/getting-started/import-data-into-close/other-ways-to-get-your-data-into-close/calendly_event_types_c3d5f3.png) ## Manually Add Leads One by One Click the '+' button next to 'Leads' that appears in the left toolbar of Close. ![Sidebar showing Leads item with plus button and tooltip to create a new lead.](https://close-prd-help-docs.s3.us-west-2.amazonaws.com/getting-started/import-data-into-close/other-ways-to-get-your-data-into-close/leads_sidebar_button_bbabd1.png) Create a New Lead Manually The minimum amount of information you need to add a new Lead is the Company/Organization Name and Contact Name. ![New Lead popup with Company Name and Contact Name fields and options to import or review potential contacts.](https://close-prd-help-docs.s3.us-west-2.amazonaws.com/getting-started/import-data-into-close/other-ways-to-get-your-data-into-close/new_lead_modal_7f6c9a.png) ## Forward Leads From Email You can forward an email from your email client to a special, secret address and Close will create a new Lead based on name/email in the forwarded email. To find your secret address, click on your name in the top left of Close, choose Settings, then Email Settings, and find the email address listed under Secret Address. You can automate lead creation with the secret email address by setting up a rule in your email client to automatically forward all new emails to the secret email address, which will create a new lead in Close. This works best when you have a dedicated email address for new sales leads, like `inquiry@xyzdomain.com.` Pro-Tip: Email verification You may be asked to open a verification email in the secret email address inbox and click a link to allow forwarding to the address. Since this inbox doesn't exist, you will want to check your Close Inbox for the email or use the search bar to find all leads using the search query: `source:email` The verification email will be logged on the lead page. ## Use the Close API Our REST API allows you to import data from any source. For example, use our API to pump new Leads into Close as prospects sign up on your website. More information about it can be found at [Close API Documentation](https://developer.close.com/). ## Third Party Integrations Close offers a large list of third-party integrations that you can leverage to pull data into Close, manipulate it a number of ways, and push it out to other systems you already use!\ A commonly used third-party integration partner is [Zapier.com](https://zapier.com/). Zapier helps you push data between popular web services without needing developer resources.\ Here are several zaps that our customers have found really helpful: * [Get Slack Notifications for new Close leads](https://zapier.com/sign-up/?next=/app/editor/template/322) * [Add Google Form entries to Close as new leads](https://zapier.com/sign-up/?next=/app/editor/template/337) * [Create new Close Leads from Mailchimp subscribers](https://zapier.com/sign-up/?next=/app/editor/template/700) * [Add new Facebook Lead Ads to Close](https://zapier.com/sign-up/?next=/app/editor/template/10285) But the possibilities of integrating Close with other software in your sales stack are endless, if that software also has an integration with Zapier. For more examples, you can check out some additional documentation on Zapier.com or [see some additional step-by-step examples that our support team has created](/v1/docs/zapier).
