# Clearing the Configuration File

## Clearing configuration file

### Mac

1. In the Close Application Menu open **Develop > Open Config/Log folder**
2. Quit the Close app
3. Copy the **config.json** file over to your Desktop so you can send it over to support@close.com for debugging

4. Delete the **config.json** file from this **Close** folder
5. Re-open your Close app

### Windows

1. In the Close Application Menu open **Develop > Open Config/Log folder**

4. Delete the **config.json** file from this **Close.io** folder
5. Re-open your Close app
